Solution: If you have an all-in-one unit (modem and wireless router in one), simply take the AC plug out of the back of the unit. Wait a minute, then put the plug back into the back of the unit. Now after the unit boots back up you should be back online. If you have a modem and a wireless router or access point that is separate from the modem, the first thing is to unplug both the AC plugs from both units. Wait a minute, and then plug the AC cord back into the modem first. Wait until it boots (when the DSL or Cable light is lit). Next, plug the AC cord back into the wireless router, and in a short amount of time you should be back online.
